Steven Shore - Assistant Professor of Informational Technology and Academic Technology Support Leader. Steven came to Alaska Pacific University in December, 1997 after a career as a public school teacher. He earned a B.M. (Music) at the State University of New York College at Fredonia in May, 1975 and an M.S. in Education (Education Technology) at Long Island University C.W. Post Campus in 1992. He began teaching at Shelter Island School as a Band and Instrumental Music Teacher in 1975. After two years in that position he moved to Alaska in 1977 for an adventure and made Alaska home since that time.  His last  public school position was 1981 to 1997 teaching for the Lower Yukon School District .  Steven still holds professional State of Alaska Teacher Certification in K-8 Elementary Classroom Teacher,  K-12 Music Teacher, and Computer Education.
